From my Christmas collection..... A wonderful cookie with a secret. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1 3/4 cup flour |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
24 hershey's kisses |
powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and walnuts; mix well. Chill dough 1-2 hours. Remove wrappers from chocolate kisses. Use about 1 Tbsp. of dough and shape around chocolate kiss. Roll to make ball. ( Be sure to cover chocolate completely.) Bake at 375* f0r 10-12 minutes. While still slightly warm, roll in powdered sugar.
