Since turkey is lower in fat than ground beef, it needs the extra punch of seasonings used in this recipe. Serve on a whole grain roll with lots of lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Delicious! 10 ounces, cooked per recipe, from 1 pound freshly ground turkey breast |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce (91739) or tamari |
1 tablespoon dijon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 cup minced red onion |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
1/4 cup minced parsley |
Directions:
1. Preheat broiler. 2. In a large bowl, combine ingredients and mix thoroughly. 3. Shape into patties and place on lightly oiled aluminum foil. Broil 6 from heat for about 4-6 minutes on each side. Burgers will turn whitish when cooked. |
