this is quick to make but it takes 45 minutes in the oven... for people that like Hot and Spicy add some red pepper to the mix... Ingredients:
1/3 cup flour |
1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese |
1 teasp. paprika |
3 large baking potatoes, each cut into 8 wedges |
1/3 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
( optional ) red pepper to taste |
dip |
1 16-ounce carton dairy sour cream....( 2 cups) |
8 slices crispy cooked bacon |
1/2 teasp. garlic powder |
2 tbsp. chopped fresh chives |
Directions:
1. in a 9-inch pie plate... stir together flour, cheese, and paprika. 2. dip potatoes into the milk, then coat with flour mixture 3. put on a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan 4. drizzle potatoes with melted butter 5. bake in 400' F oven for 45 - 50 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender and browned.... turn potatoes over after about 25 minutes... 6. ........................................................... 7. while the potatoes are baking in a medium bowl ...stir together all dip ingredients 8. .......................................................... 9. serve hot potatoes with dip. |
