A fitting partner to most any burger is a side of fries. Try varying this simple recipe by adding onion or garlic powder, cumin, paprika, or any favorite seasonings. Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds baking potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°. 2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl; toss well. Arrange potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake at 450° 35 minutes or until golden. |
