Ingredients:
1 small onion |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1/2 pound fresh green beans |
1/4 cup water |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut onion in half lengthwise; cut each half into thin slices. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Add onion; cook over medium heat 4 minutes or until tender. Wash green beans; remove stems. Add green beans, water, salt, and pepper; cook 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
