For convenience, prepare this to use for dredging meat and poultry. Can be used with bread crumbs to prepare breaded meats. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
2 tablespoons salt |
1 tablespoon celery salt |
1 tablespoon pepper |
2 tablespoons dry mustard |
4 tablespoons paprika |
2 tablespoons garlic powder |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
1/2 teaspoon sweet basil |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
Directions:
1. Stir together to blend evenly. 2. Store in a tightly covered jar. 3. For a crumb coating on fish, meat or poultry, combine 1 1/2 TBSPS of seasoned flour with 1 cup of dry bread crumbs. |
