1-1/3 cups water |
2/3 cup long grain brown rice |
1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce |
1/2 teaspoon dried basil |
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, bring water and rice to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 35-45 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Yield: 4 servings. |
