This side is great for any stir-fry it has a yummy subtle sesame taste. It's easy to make and it's vegetarian and vegan friendly.Toasted sesame seeds add an amazing crunchy to soft fluffy rice. Ingredients:
1 cup rice |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
a few toasted sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. In a steamer put rice, oil and salt 2. Stir together well and set timer for 15 minutes 3. While steaming take raw sesame seeds and toast in a pan over low-medium heat for approx 5-7 minutes. 4. When rice is finished steaming sprinkle seeds over rice and serve with favorite main course. |
