Seared Romaine and Cucumber |

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger |
1/2 cup diced yellow onion |
1 head romaine lettuce, chopped |
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric |
2 cucumbers, peeled, seeded, and cubed |
sea salt |
Directions:
1. In a heavy skillet or wok over high flame, heat the butter until nearly smoking. Add the ginger and onion and cook for 1 minute. Add the romaine and stir until just seared and wilted. Toss in turmeric and cucumber. Remove from heat when cucumber is just warm. Season with sea salt. |
