I make this recipe on cold winter days to help warm up my family. It is easy and tastes so good. I have used the recipe as listed, or have added a can of Crabmeat, shrimp, and really any seafood. You could probably substitute lower calorie items, and still have the taste. Enjoy! Ingredients:
6 ounces butter or 6 ounces margarine |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/2 onion, chopped |
1 lb crawfish or 1 lb seafood |
2 cups half-and-half cream |
2 cups milk |
2 (14 3/4 ounce) cans creamed corn |
1 (15 ounce) can corn |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) cream of potato soup |
1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning |
frank's red hot sauce |
seasoning salt |
1/4 cup mozzarella-provolone cheese blend |
1/4 cup shallot |
Directions:
1. Melt Butter over low heat. 2. Add Flour, Blend Together. 3. Add Onions. Saute until wilted. 4. Add remaining ingredients, and cook on Medium Heat for 40 minutes. 5. Stirring every so often. |
