Note that kosher salt is called for in the brine. If using ordinary sea salt, reduce the amount to 1/4 cup. Ingredients:
1/3 cup kosher salt |
1/3 cup light brown sugar |
1 quart cold water |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large, non-reactive bowl, stirring until salt and sugar dissolve. |
