Great side dish or appetizer. Serve with crackers. Add a little Louisiana Hot Sauce for extra zing! Ingredients:
1/2 stick butter |
1 green bell pepper |
1 red bell pepper |
2 stalks of celery |
1 onion |
2 carrots |
4 cans peeled tomatoes, crushed |
1/4 cup dry white wine |
1 can fish stock |
2 fillets of mild fish, (flounder, tilepia, etc....) |
salt & pepper to taste |
cornstarch for thickening |
Directions:
1. Saute in butter first 5 ing. until tender 2. Combine remaining ing. except for cornstarch 3. Heat to boiling then turn down to simmer 4. Add enough cornstarch until desired thickness 5. Let simmer for 1 hour |
