this is one of my favorite chinese soups, it's very light and I have somany great memories cause I've had this soup since I'm a little boy Ingredients:
6oo grams of pork ribs |
200 grams of sea cucumber, cut into bite size chunk |
200 grams of shrimp |
200 grams of bamboo shoots, cut into bite size chunk |
2 dried shitake mushrooms (optional |
salt and white pepper powder to taste |
Directions:
1. cook pork ribs with 8 cups of water for 45 minutes or until the is the water turns white, this is the soup base or the stock for this soup 2. add sea cucumber and bamboo shoot, cover, simmer for 15 minutes, add shrimp, salt and pepper, taste, serve hot |
