Simple salad to make for a quick sunday dinner. Ingredients:
1 pack (43 oz.) cooked and serve lemon pudding mix |
3 packs (3 oz. each) lime gelatin |
2 c. boiling water |
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple |
1 carton (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed |
Directions:
1. Prepare pudding as package directs 2. . Cool completely 3. . Meanwhile in a mixing bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. 4. Drain pineapple, reserving juice and set pineapple aside. 5. Add cold water to juice to make 2 cups. Stir into gelatin. 6. Chill until mixture begins to thicken 7. . Add cooled pudding and beat well 8. . Remove 1 cup and set aside. 9. Add pineapple to remaining mixture 10. . Pour into a 13x9x2 inch dish. 11. Refrigerate until set. 12. Fold whipped cream into reserved gelatin-pudding mixture. 13. Spread over first layer 14. . Refrigerate until serving. |
