This is one of my favorite veggies to make when I'm looking for something to add pizzaz to a dinner. Also good alone. Ingredients:
16 ounces french style green beans, frozen |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 teaspoons oregano leaves |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook beans in a small amount of boiling water for about 10-15 minutes (or according to package). 2. Drain; keep warm. 3. Add all ingredients and cook on low until butter has melted and flavors are combined - stir continuously. 4. Serve. |
