Pie crust Ingredients:
1/2 cup shortening |
1 1/2 cups flour |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 cup boiling water |
Directions:
1. Cream shortening with a fork into the 1/4 cup of boiling water. 2. Mix and sift the flour, salt, and baking powder. 3. Add the mixture to the shortening slowly. 4. Blend well. 5. Form into a ball and refrigerate until ready to use. . 6. Yield = 1 pastry shell. |
