My husband's adaptation of a waffle recipe we found somewhere on the internet. Ingredients:
2 cups plain flour |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
6 tablespoons sugar |
1 egg |
1/4 cup butter, softened |
2 cups buttermilk |
1/2 cup cold water |
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients. 2. Whisk in egg and butter. 3. Add buttermilk and water and mix until just combined. 4. Follow directions for your waffle iron in regards to amount of batter for each waffle and cooking time. |
