I could eat them all... that's why recipe servings says 1.... too good to pass around! Easy and the buttery flavor to die for!! Old recipe, don't remember where I got it..
Ingredients:
scottish shortbread recipe
8oz white flour
6oz butter
5 oz sugar
2 oz ground almonds
Directions:
1. Place ingredients into a mixing bowl and just rub the butter in.
2. Place mixture in 2 square cake tins and just work it into the edge with
3. knuckles until combined and smooth.
4. Prick with a fodrk,
5. Bake at 325 F for 20 minutes or when golden brown.
6. Leave to cool then mark out portions before completely cold.
