I love all kinds of pancakes. This makes a dense heavier pancake so if you like light and fluffy this isn't for you. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups oats, uncooked |
2 cups buttermilk |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Mix oats and buttermilk together in a bowl and let stand for 5 minutes. Combine dry ingredients and add to the oat mixture. Add beaten eggs, mixing well. 2. Spoon onto oiled griddle. Brown first side, then flip once only. Remove from griddle when golden brown. Serves 4. |
