A sweeter version to grandma's rice krispie cookies! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup karo light corn syrup |
1 cup peanut butter |
6 cups rice krispies |
1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet) |
1 cup butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. Combine the sugar and karo in large pan over medium heat, bring to a slow boil, stirring occasionally. 2. Remove from heat. 3. Stir in the peanut butter and krispies, mix well. 4. Press into a 13x9x2 greased pan. 5. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in a double-boiler. Pour immediately over krispie mixture, spreading evenly. 6. Allow cookies to chill before cutting, approx 1 hours. |
