This is a fantastic way to eat sausage and eggs!! It is also very good sliced, on the side of salads. Mustard, mixed with mayonnaise, makes a very good sauce to go with it. Ingredients:
12 small eggs |
1 1/2 lbs sausage meat |
breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. Boil egg hard; let cool and peel. 2. Wrap sausage meats around egg, making sure no egg white shows. 3. Dip in beaten egg whites, then in bread crumbs. Cook in oil for about 4 minutes (2 minutes per side). Put on paper towel to drain. 4. Serve hot or cold. |
