Family Recipe.
Ingredients:
2 cups sourdough batter
1 cup milk or 1 cup water
3 eggs
1/4 cup oil
sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in a little water
4 cups flour
Directions:
1. Mix as you would for yeast bread, not too stiff.
2. Place in lightly greased container and let rise to double in bulk.
3. Roll out on a floured board and cut to desired pieces.
4. Fry in deep Crisco oil. Make plenty.
