This traditional german recipe came from my grandmother's recipe box. Ingredients:
4 ounces dark chocolate |
3 tablespoons butter (not margarine) |
2 1/4 cups powdered sugar |
1/2 cup half-and-half |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate and butter over low heat stirring constantly. 2. When melted, remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. 3. Beat with mixer until of spreading consistency. |
