A recipe that has lots of success in my family. Ingredients:
24 scampi |
curry powder (gluten-free) |
rum |
2 green apples (granny smith) |
1 banana |
chicken stock powder (gluten-free) |
3 deciliter cooking cream (gluten-free) |
sugar |
salt |
pepper |
mixed salad |
roasted pine nuts |
baguette (gluten-free) |
Directions:
1. Cooking: 2. Warm dishes up in an oven at the lowest temperature (black dishes if you have them) 3. Clean the scampi and cut them vertically in 2 from the head to the middle of the scampi. 4. Remove the channels on back and belly.(This way they will nicely curl when you bake them) 5. Cut the apple into french fries .(with the peel) 6. Heat butter in a pan and add scampi. 7. When the scampi are baked, pour some rum over and flame. 8. Put the scampi aside and keep them warm with the dishes (turn out the oven) 9. Flatten the banana in the pan and add curry powder to taste. 10. Add the cream. 11. Season with the sugar, the chicken stock powder, the pepper and the salt to taste. 12. Let it cook so it becomes a bound sauce. 13. Presentation: 14. Take the dishes and put 6 scampi, with the tail in the sky, on each dish 15. Pour curry sauce in the middle. 16. Make a little heap with the mixed salad in the middle of the dish 17. Sprinkle the roasted pine nuts and the apple french fries over the whole dish 18. Eat it with a piece of the baguette 19. Bon Appetit! |
