Ingredients:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 shallot, minced
1 garlic clove, minced
12 ounces bay scallops
1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
salt & freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over high heat.
2. Add shallot and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until softened, about 2 minutes.
3. Add scallops and basil; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
4. Add vinegar and heat, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
