SCALLOPED TOMATOES WITH CHEESE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Duncan Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1999. Ingredients:
16 ounce can whole tomatoes undrained and coarsely chopped |
1-1/2 cups plain croutons |
4 ounces mozzarella cheese cubed |
4 ounces cheddar cheese cubed |
1 tablespoon minced white onion |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl and stir well. 2. Spoon tomato mixture into greased baking dish spreading evenly. 3. Bake uncovered at 375 for 20 minutes then serve immediately. |
