Scalloped Potatoes With Onions |

These are incredibly easy, but not easy on taste, they are bursting with great flavor. Sure to please all the potato lovers in your household. Ingredients:
6 medium potatoes thinly sliced |
1 medium onion thinly sliced |
1/4 cup butter cut into pats |
1/4 cup flour |
1/2 cup milk |
4 slices american cheese |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Alternate potatoes, onions and pats of butter in a greased casserole dish. 2. Mix together just enough milk with the flour to make a paste. 3. When mixed gradually add remaining milk to flour then pour over potatoes and onions. 4. Top with strips of cheese and bake uncovered at 400 for 45 minutes. |
