Tried and true and one that has been around my family for years. I made this today for a Sunday School potluck and it was one of the first things to go. Enjoy
Ingredients:
2 pound frozen hash browns thawed
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
2 cups crushed cornflakes mixed with 1/2 cup melted butter
Directions:
1. Combine potatoes, butter, salt and pepper.
2. Add soup, sour cream, cheese and onion.
3. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
4. Top with topping and bake 15 minutes longer.
