Scalloped Corn Casserole

Easy corn casserole. I've made it several times.
Ingredients:
1 - 15 oz can of corn
2/3 cup milk
1 1/4 tsp salt
dash of pepper
1 large egg, slightly beaten
2 tbsp butter
2 cups soft bread crumbs
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Butter an 8 x 8 baking dish.
3. Mix, corn, milk, seasonings and egg together.
4. Mix crumbs and butter together, place 1/4 in the bottom of the baking dish.
5. Add half of the corn mix, then top with 1/4 of crumbs, repeating until you end with the balance of the crumbs.
6. Bake for 30 minutes.
7. Serve hot.
