I love corn any size shape or form. My Aunt Barbara gave me this recipe over 20 years ago and it is a mainstay in our home and we never tire of it. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 can cream style corn |
1 cup milk |
1 well beaten egg |
1/4 cup chopped white onion |
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper |
1 cup cracker crumbs |
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste |
1/2 cup buttered cracker crumbs |
Directions:
1. Heat corn and milk then gradually stir in egg. 2. Add cup cracker crumbs, onion, bell pepper, salt and pepper then mix well. 3. Pour into a greased medium casserole dish. 4. Top with buttered cracker crumbs then back at 350 for 20 minutes. |
