This a comfort food dish so good and tasty. Serve it with cornbread or a nice crusty French bread Ingredients:
1 pkg. (4.8 oz.) sour cream and chives potato mix |
2-1/4 cups boiling water |
3/4 cup half and half or whole milk |
3 cups cubed cooked chicken |
1 can (8-oz.) mushrooms pieces and stems |
1 cup frozen sweet peas |
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1 tbsp. chopped parsley |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 450*F. 2. Mix potatoes, sauce mix, water, half and half, chicken, peas and mushrooms in ungreased 2 quart casserole. 3. Bake uncovered 35 minutes, stirring once until potatoes are tender. 4. Mis remaining ingredients in small bowl. 5. Sprinkle over potato mixture. 6. Bake uncovered about 5 minutes or until light golden brown. |
