Ingredients:
1 pound(s) pork sausage browned and crumbled |
1/4 cup(s) butter |
1/3 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
3 1/4 cup(s) milk |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
3/4 teaspoon(s) pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook and crumble sausage. Melt butter in skillet over low heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Cook, whisking constantly, 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook, whisking constantly, over medium heat about 10-12 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Stir in sausage, salt, pepper. Yields: 3 3/4 cups |
