This is from a stuffing mix package, I can't wait to try them. Ingredients:
1/4 cup seasoned stuffing mix |
1/4 teaspoon sage |
1 carrot, grated |
1 onion, finely chopped |
1/2 red capsicum, diced |
1 (310 g) can creamed corn |
1 tablespoon light soy sauce |
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients. Mix well. 2. Cut astry sheets in half, lengthwise. 3. Spread mixture evenly along the centre of each strip. Moisten edges with water. Roll up as for a sausage roll to enclose filling. 4. Cut roll into 4 pieces. Place on a lightly greased oven tray. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. 5. Bake at 220C for 20-25 minutes or until golden. |
