Savoury Lamb Chops by June |

This was my Mums recipe and one that my Brother and I grew up on. Mum use to marinate the chops but I'm really not sure for how long. I haven't taken this into consideration for prep times. Ingredients:
6 leg lamb chops, trimmed of fat |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
2 tablespoons ketchup |
1 1/2 cups water |
2 tablespoons sherry wine |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon curry powder |
1/2 teaspoon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon mixed spice |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 140°C. 2. Place meat in an oven dish. 3. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over. 4. Cover dish and bake in slow oven for 2 hours. |
