Quick & delicious! I found this recipe in First magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting this for safe keeping. Ingredients:
4 ounces hot italian turkey sausage, casing removed and crumbled (1 link) |
1/2 cup lowfat ricotta cheese |
4 tablespoons lowfat shredded mozzarella cheese, divided |
2 prepared pizza crust (8-inch-each) |
1 cup chopped fresh spinach |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 450. 2. In skillet over medium heat, cook turkey sausage 3 minutes. 3. In small bowl, combine ricotta and 2 tablespoons mozzarella; spread on 2 pizza crusts. Divide spinach and sausage evenly between pizzas. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. 4. Bake 8 minutes. |
