Peppers stuffed with brown rice and ground beef round. Ingredients:
4 peppers, sweet, green or red large |
1 cup brown rice, minute, uncooked |
16 ounces ground beef round |
1 egg, extra large |
1/2 cup bread crumbs |
24 ounces marinara sauce, low-sodium |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove tops and seeds from peppers. Place into a deep oven-proof baking dish. 2. Combine Brown Rice, 2 tablespoons Mrs. Dash Tomato Basil Garlic Salt-Free Seasoning Blend, beef, egg and bread crumbs in medium size bowl. Blend well. Stuff mixture into peppers. 3. Pour sauce over peppers and sprinkle with cheese. Cover dish and bake for 45 minutes or until peppers are tender. |
