I love using this sauce over broiled chicken breast...which alone can be rather dry. It dressed up fish also. I usually triple the recipe because it can blend into other recipes...and it freezes well! Ingredients:
8 ounces tomato sauce |
1 small onion, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic, finely minced |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix everything in a microwave-safe bowl. 2. Heat until hot, stopping to stir once. 3. You could use garlic powder if fresh is not available. |
