Salisbury Steak: EASY & ECONOMICAL recipe for your family this is it! Ingredients:
1 lb ground round |
1 organic egg, beaten |
1 cup fresh sourdough bread, torn into small pieces |
2 tablespoons ketchup |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 dash salt |
fresh ground pepper |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 cup merlot |
Directions:
1. Combine beef, egg, bread pieces, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. Make into 4 flattened patties, pat with fine bread crumbs. Brown in buttered skillet. Combine soup & merlot and pour over steak cover & simmer 30-35 minute. 2. Serve with mashed red skinned potatoes and steamed asparagus. Garnish with fresh parsley. |
