This is so good on a cold day...
Ingredients:
3/4 cup smoked sausage
2 celery ribs, sliced
1 (16 ounce) package split peas
2 (16 ounce) cans chicken broth
1 (16 ounce) bag frozen chopped onions
3 carrots
1 bay leaf
Directions:
1. Brown sausage in small skillet until browned, drain well.
2. Combine sausage & remaining ingredients in slow cooker.
3. Cover and cook on low 5 hours or until peas are tender.
4. Turn off heat.
5. Let stand 15 minutes to thicken.
