These are delicious served alone as a bread course OR stuffed with chicken salad. Your choice. Tasty and will keep for days. Ingredients:
1 cup water |
1/3 cup oleo |
1 cup all purpose flour |
1 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp garlic powder |
4 eggs |
1 cup shredded swiss cheese |
1 small burmuda onion |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Heat water and oleo to rolling boil. 3. Stir in flour, salt and garlic powder. 4. Stir vigorously, until mix forms a ball. 5. Beat in eggs until smooth (wisk). 6. Stir in cheese and onion. 7. Drop dough 1 inch apart on lightly greased baking sheet. 8. Bake until puffed and golden 20-25 minutes. |
