So EASY, FAST and Yum! This recipe came from McCormick spice-their Lemon-Pepper seasoning is the best brand to use in this recipe. Ingredients:
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (4 pieces) |
1 1/4 teaspoons lemon-pepper seasoning (mccormick's if you have it) |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 cup baby carrots, quartered lengthwise (or regular carrots julienned will work) |
1/3 cup sliced green onion |
3/4 cup chicken broth |
1 tablespoon flour |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon parsley flakes (or 1/4 cup fresh) |
Directions:
1. Rub lemon pepper on chicken. 2. In lg skillet, melt butter over medium heat. 3. Saute chicken 7 minutes each side or until done; remove from skillet& keep warm. 4. Add carrots and onions to skillet. 5. Saute 2 minutes. 6. Whisk together broth and flour. 7. Pour over vegetables; bring to boil. 8. Simmer 2 minutes. 9. Add sour cream and parsley. 10. Simmer 2 minutes. 11. Spoon over chicken. |
