This quick bread will be a family favorite Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon onion salt |
1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves |
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 1/4 cups grated cheddar cheese |
1 egg, beaten |
1 cup milk |
1 tablespoon melted butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, onion salt, oregano, dry mustard and cheese. 3. In separate bowl, mix together egg, milk and butter. 4. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. 5. Spread batter in greased loaf pan. 6. Bake 40-45 minutes. 7. Cool in pan for 10 mins. 8. Finish cooling on rack. 9. May be frozen. |
