Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon onion salt |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1 egg, beaten |
1 cup milk |
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Mix together first seven ingredients; set aside. 2. Mix together egg, milk, and butter; add to dry ingredients. 3. Stir until just moistened. 4. Pour batter into a greased 8x4 inch loaf pan. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
