This is a fusion dish . Just wanted to make a fuss free breakfast .... Love the fresh herbs and the olive oil .....
Ingredients:
4 slices wholemeal bread with bran and wheatgerm , stir fried in oilve oil and set aside
1 white onion , thinly sliced
1/2 tbsp ginger
1/2 tbsp fresh green chillies , thinly sliced
1 small tomato , thinly sliced
2 tbsp fresh herbs
1 tbsp meat pwd
1/2 tbsp corriander pwd
1 large egg , slightly beaten
1/2 tbsp pepper pwd
1 tbsp chilli pwd ( optional )
shredded cheese ( optional )
Directions:
1. In OLIVE OIL , saute the onions , ginger and the chillies .
2. Add the masalas and fry .
3. Add the tomatoe slices , salt and the herbs and cook until mushy
4. Stir fry the bread cubes .
5. Add the egg and the pepper pwd .
6. Roast them .
7. If you wann add the chilli pwd and roast well .
8. Garnish with Shredded cheese ( optional )
9. Serve hot .
