This is a fusion dish . Just wanted to make a fuss free breakfast .... Love the fresh herbs and the olive oil ..... Ingredients:
4 slices wholemeal bread with bran and wheatgerm , stir fried in oilve oil and set aside |
1 white onion , thinly sliced |
1/2 tbsp ginger |
1/2 tbsp fresh green chillies , thinly sliced |
1 small tomato , thinly sliced |
2 tbsp fresh herbs |
1 tbsp meat pwd |
1/2 tbsp corriander pwd |
1 large egg , slightly beaten |
1/2 tbsp pepper pwd |
1 tbsp chilli pwd ( optional ) |
shredded cheese ( optional ) |
Directions:
1. In OLIVE OIL , saute the onions , ginger and the chillies . 2. Add the masalas and fry . 3. Add the tomatoe slices , salt and the herbs and cook until mushy 4. Stir fry the bread cubes . 5. Add the egg and the pepper pwd . 6. Roast them . 7. If you wann add the chilli pwd and roast well . 8. Garnish with Shredded cheese ( optional ) 9. Serve hot . |
