My dad created this recipe for camping purposes. It is really good cooked out in the open in a dutch oven. Very delicious. Ingredients:
1 (31 ounce) can pork and beans |
1 lb sausage |
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can corn (sweet corn is best) |
1 diced onion |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook the sausage and onion on the stovetop until brown. Transfer to a pot and add the pork and beans, can of corn and pepper to taste. Allow that to simmer until warm or until it is creamy. It is all based on what you prefer. |
