Spinach is sauteed with garlic and gets a punch of flavor from crushed red pepper. This quick and easy dish is a great side for any meal. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
2 teaspoons butter |
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper |
5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced |
2 (9-ounce) packages fresh spinach |
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt |
Directions:
1. Heat oil and butter in a Dutch oven over medium-low heat. Add pepper and garlic; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Increase heat to medium-high. Gradually add spinach, tossing until spinach wilts (about 2 minutes). Stir in salt. |
