For an easy side that's ready in less than 15 minutes, try Sauteed Snow Peas and Peppers. Only 3 ingredients are needed to enhance the fresh flavors of snow peas and red bell pepper. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons dark sesame oil, divided |
2 1/2 cups fresh snow peas, trimmed |
1 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 teaspoon sesame oil to pan; swirl to coat. Add snow peas and bell pepper to pan; sauté for 4 minutes or until the vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Remove pan from heat. Drizzle vegetable mixture with remaining 1 teaspoon sesame oil. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and toss well to combine. |
