Snow peas are sauteed in sesame oil and then tossed with soy sauce and fresh hot chile paste for a kick of flavor. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil |
1 pound snow peas, trimmed |
1 1/2 tablespoons lower-sodium soy sauce |
1 teaspoon sambal oelek (fresh hot chile paste, such as huy fong; optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to pan; swirl to coat. Add peas; sauté 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Remove from heat. Add soy sauce and sambal, if desired. Toss to coat. |
