SAUTÉED SNOW PEAS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Whitcomb Estate in Richardson Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons butter |
1/2 pound snow peas with strings removed |
1 pinch sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. In large skillet over medium heat melt butter. 2. Add peas and sauté stirring frequently about 4 minutes. 3. Season with sugar, salt and pepper then serve immediately. |
