If you love sweet red onions, this is an easy recipe. It's delicious. Ingredients:
2 medium-sized red onions (about 6 oz. each) |
1 t olive oil |
1/4 t sugar |
1/8 t salt |
Directions:
1. Cut Red Onions into 1/2-inch-thick slices. Do not seperate Onions into rings. 2. In non-stick 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in Olive Oil, cook Red Onion slices 5 minutes. 3. Sprinkle Onions with Sugar and Salt. Cover skillet; reduce heat to medium-low and cook Onion slices 15 to 20 minutes longer, turning slices once with pancake turner, until golden brown and tender. |
